

Gerald A. Duncan, age 72, of Hesston, Kansas passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his home. He was born September 3, 1948, at Fort Sherman, Panama, the son of Hoyt A. and Nancy (Duke) Duncan.
Gerald graduated from Port Hueneme High School in California. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 as a crew chief in the Vietnam War, obtaining the rank of Specialist 5. He owned and operated Action Home Repair and also restored and painted automobiles for many years. He was a lifelong resident of California, moving to Hesston in 2019. Gerald enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his friends and various clubs. He was a friend to all and kept in contact with everyone he met.
Survivors include a son, Shane A. (Misti) Duncan of Hesston; step-mother, Margaret Duncan of Palmdale, CA; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation is planned with private family services to be held. Memorials may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, PO Box 32, Hesston, KS 67062.
