 </figure>SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Thanksgiving Day shooting and have two suspects in custody.Just after 3p.m. Thursday, police responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of North Ash in Wichita, according to Officer Kevin Wheeler.Upon arrival, officers located Maurice Simmons, 46, Wichita, with a gunshot wound.&nbsp; He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries.&nbsp;<figure>

 </figure>The investigation revealed that Maurice Simmons was involved in a disturbance with Diane Simmons, 48, Wichita with whom he was involved in a dating relationship, according to Wheeler.&nbsp; The disturbance turned physical, at which point Diane Simmons allegedly retrieved a gun and shot him in the arm.Police arrested Diane Simmons for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and&nbsp; Maurice Simmons for aggravated domestic battery and a city of Wichita misdemeanor warrant, according to Wheeler.The case will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office..
