HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Correctional Facility cluster type does not have any documented cases of COVID-19 as of Thursday afternoon, according to the Reno County COVID-19 dashboard.
The overall case count is down to 223. The death count among Reno County residents is at 132.
The latest update to the 14-day rolling average for the community as a whole is an 11.6% positive test rate as of February 7, with the latest week of data added Thursday.
The 14-day new case total is at 181. This has moved the overall community positive test rate for the total pandemic down slightly to 27.40%.
Out of 7,614 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 7,259 recoveries.
Six Reno County residents are in the hospital. According to the dashboard, three hundred sixty-one total have been hospitalized. One hundred two have been admitted to the ICU. These are Reno County resident numbers regardless of where they are hospitalized.
