Theresa "Tess" Juanita Moorehead |1944-2021|

Pratt - Theresa "Tess" Juanita Moorehead, 77, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021. She was born July 8, 1944 in Dow, OK to Robert O. and Zena B. (Scott) McCutcheon. Theresa married Robert L. Moorehead in 1977 in Gray, TX. They later divorced.

Tess worked as a Regional Manager at Leisure Hotel Corp. Her coworkers knew her to be resourceful, sophisticated, and decisive. This not only applies to her work, but to her life. All who knew her regarded her as very matter-of-fact, brilliant, and incredibly witty. She was a caring mother, grandmother, and a beautiful woman with a strong will. She loved watching movies, traveling, playing golf, hunting, and spoiling her dog, Tessy.

She is survived by her son, James Leatherwood of Pratt; granddaughter, Theresa Leatherwood; and brothers, Danny (Linda) Hughes of CO and Paul (Patricia) Hughes of WA.

Tess is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert McCutcheon and Billy McCutcheon.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the book Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt.
