The McPherson County Board of County Commissioners on Monday enacted a burn ban for all of McPherson County.
The ban is effective beginning on April 14 and is in effect until the Board of County Commissioners rescinds it.

The ban includes all outdoor fires including:
• Fence rows, ditches, fields and debris
• Brush piles
• Burn pits, campfires, back yard fire pits and chimeneas
• Residential trash in burn barrels
According to the ban you can use:
• Barbeque grills and smokers
• Permanent backyard stove and fireplaces
• Fixed barbeque grill in a park or recreation area
