Jerry Brian Robertson, 60, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at his home in McPherson. He worked as a brick layer and carpenter, working for Pyle Construction and Gilbert Construction.
Jerry was born on June 10, 1960, the son of Jay Byron and Kathern Sue (Geren) Robertson. He graduated from McPherson High School in 1978 and attended Friends University in Wichita. Jerry was united in marriage to Teresa A. McDonald on August 29, 1980, in McPherson, KS. She preceded him in death on November 4, 2005.
He was a member of Galva Christian Church and he, along with daughter, Jennifer, was an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society.
Survivors include: two daughters, Jennifer Zavadil (Jason) of Topeka, KS and Jordan Bryson (Troy) of Loveland, CO; mother, Sue Robertson Harper (John Harper) of McPherson, KS; brother, Jon Robertson (Jane) of Salina, KS; four grandchildren, Ethan Zavadil, Meghan Zavadil, Owen Bryson, and Carter Bryson; and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Teresa; father, Jay; and brother, Jeff.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, May 17, 2021, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, May 18, at the Galva Christian Church with Pastor Tripp Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
