HAVEN, Kan. — It is a light agenda for the Haven City Council on Monday. The council will seek approval of a resolution proclaiming April 29 as Arbor Day for the city. The council will seek approval for the purchase of some wire and pole for the public works department at a cost of $15,000.
Following that, the council will go into executive session along with City Clerk Leslie Atherton, attorney Andrew Foulston, and Public Works Director Derek Stoll to discuss the ongoing legal issues with the city pool. The pool has been closed for the past several years due to legal action connected to the pool renovation project.
Monday’s meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Haven city offices.
