HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A data walk through food insecurity in Reno County is being sponsored by the Reno County Community Wellness Coalition and Passageways to a Healthy Kansas.
The event is being held at the Gallery Theater at the Springer Fine Arts Center at Hutchinson Community College on Thursday Jan. 30. There are two sessions to the event, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
It will have interactive displays that will share the stories and statistics behind food access challenges here in Reno County.
Using visuals and dialogue, a data walk is a powerful way to engage with real issues and help to create real solutions.
The public is invited to come and learn and share your thoughts to take action to build a healthier Reno County for all.
