
The National Weather Service office in Wichita is confident that portions of Kansas will get snow and all of Kansas will be very cold from Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Highest confidence for accumulating snow is along the I-70 corridor in central Kansas.
The snow will be accompanied by gusty north winds to 35 mph which may cause reduced visibility in blowing snow.

The coldest wind chills will be prior to 11 a.m. Thursday morning.
Very cold temperatures are again expected Thursday night into Friday morning, but the wind will be lighter then.
The snow is due to fall between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday.
