WICHITA, Kan. — The National Baseball Congress on Wednesday announced its 2025 NBC World Series All-Tournament team, with the champion Hutchinson Monarchs leading the way in selections.
The Monarchs, who blasted the Lonestar Kraken (Texas) 21-4 in the Aug. 2 championship game at Riverfront Stadium, captured their second NBC title in the past three years. Four Hutchinson players and head coach Casey Lippoldt earned All-Tournament honors after a dominant run through the 91st edition of the summer classic.
Pitcher Bradyn McClure, shortstop Drew Bugner and outfielders Jake Gutierrez and Jaden Gustafson represented the Monarchs on the All-Tournament roster. Lippoldt was named Manager of the Tournament after guiding Hutchinson’s high-powered lineup and deep pitching staff to the title.
Hutchinson outscored its opponents by wide margins throughout the 10-day event, capped by a 21-run outburst in the final that overwhelmed Lonestar’s pitching. The championship capped another banner season for the Monarchs, who also claimed the 2022 crown and remain one of the premier programs in summer collegiate baseball.
The full NBC World Series All-Tournament team included: pitchers Simon Lunsford and Julio Ramos of the Hays Larks, Brice Foster of the Seattle Studs, and Trent Collier of Lonestar; catcher Christian Olea of the Alaska Goldpanners; infielders Jackson Copeland of Seattle, Tony DeJesus of Lonestar, Bugner of Hutchinson, and Noah Allison of the Derby Twins; outfielders Gutierrez and Gustafson of Hutchinson and Preston Curtis of Lonestar; utility players Aidan LeMasters of Top Prospects Academy and Kado Robardy of Lonestar; designated hitter Matthew Pinal of Alaska; and manager Lippoldt of Hutchinson.
