PRATT COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Sunday in Pratt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Toyota 4Runner driven by Lauren Nicole Marshall, 33, Minneola, was westbound on U.S. 54 just west of southwest 19th Avenue. The driver attempted to make a U-turn in a no passing zone.
An eastbound NV3500 Bus driven by David Wayne Barker, 45, Burlison, Tennessee, struck the passenger side of the Toyota.
EMS transported one passenger on the bus identified as Courtney Layne Barker, 43, Burlison, Tennessee, to Pratt Regional Medial Center. The drivers, a 4-year-old in the Toyota and three small children on the bus were not injured. All seven were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
