DERBY, Kan. — The Hutchinson Monarchs have found success driving in runs this season, hitting .314 with runners in scoring position. They'll look to continue that trend when they face the Derby Twins on the road for the first tie this season tonight in Derby.

AJ Mustow powered the Monarchs to an 8-5 victory over the Twins, going 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs. Hutchinson rallied late to secure the win, handing Derby its second loss of the season.
Player spotlight:
Reliever Aiden Sowers has been effective on the mound, throwing first-pitch strikes to eight of the 14 batters he's faced this season. His ability to get ahead in counts has been a key asset for the Monarchs’ bullpen.
