GALVA, Kan. — UPDATE: Repairs to the wells have been completed.
The city is asking to refrain from watering until Friday morning, as Galva Fire flushed hydrants Thursday night as part of water system maintenance.
Galva will be returning back to our water conservation watering schedule. Thank you for your understanding of this situation.
___________________________________________According to a Thursday social media post from the City of Galva, their wells 1 and 2 are down.
Galva is in a water emergency due to a well being down and they are working to get it fixed. Outside watering is prohibited.
They will post when they are back to the normal watering restrictions.
