
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County sales tax numbers hit another record high for the month of November.
According to figures released from the Treasurer's Office the county took in $445,580, an increase of more than $88,000.
It’s the sixth month in a row that sales tax has increased year-over-year and is $17,000 higher than last month.
The total sales tax taken in by the county for the year now totals $4,410,000 which means the county will easily surpass last year's collections.
Sales tax numbers for November reflect shopping for the month of September.
