HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson firefighters worked Thursday night on a house fire at 721 East First Avenue.
The fire call was just before 9:30 p.m. and crews reported heavy fire and smoke coming from the front living room area.
The fire was contained to the one room. The home sustained smoke and heat damage and is uninhabitable.
No one was hurt, but two people were evaluated by EMS at the scene. The investigation continues.
