MCPHERSON, Kan. — A fire that started Tuesday at the McPherson Area Solid Waste Utility transfer station is expected to burn into the weekend and possibly next week. No one was hurt.
According to information from the McPherson Fire Department, crews will continue to monitor the fire and wind conditions in the coming days.
Expect heavy smoke conditions in the area.
