
SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas woman on drug charges after an arrest.
Just before 10a.m. Tuesday, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Honda Accord at NW 75 Highway and NW 46th Street, according to deputy Abigail Christian. A K9 unit with the Kansas Highway Patrol assisted. During the investigation, the K9 was deployed and illegal narcotics were located.
Deputies arrested 44-year-old Bobbie J. Vandiver of Topeka and booked her into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement.
