HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The USD 308 Board of Education heard a presentation on the district’s Operations and Maintenance at their meeting on Monday (September 26, 2022).
Operations and Maintenance are important parts of an effective school district. Randy Norwood, Assistant Superintendent of Operations, presented on the various roles and responsibilities that the Operations Department has within USD 308. They heard from the Directors of Nutrition Services, IT, and Maintenance. The presentation included an overview of the department and current projects such as HVAC repairs and roofing/floor replacements. The Board had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss.
Also during Monday’s meeting, the Board:

· Approved Minutes of the RNR, Budget Hearing, and 9-12-22 Board Meeting
· Approved Treasurer’s Report - August 2022
· Approved Grant Requests
· Approved Gifts to Schools

· Approved Johnson Controls Fire Protection Testing and Inspections
