HUTCHINSON, Kan. — USD 308 Hutchinson Public Schools has hired Kevin Denison as the next head baseball coach at Hutchinson High School.
The USD 308 Board of Education approved the hiring during its meeting Monday.
Denison spent the past five seasons as an assistant coach in the Salthawk baseball program. He replaces Mace Krol, who left to become the athletic director for Haven USD 312.
“I am excited for this opportunity,” Denison said. “I can’t wait to get started and continue helping build our student-athletes into better players and, more importantly, better people on and off the field.”
Denison is entering his fifth year at Hutchinson Middle School-7 as the head of ISS. He also serves as an assistant football coach at Hutchinson Middle School-8 and an assistant wrestling coach.
