Wifco Steel Products is proud to announce significant investment and innovation in its manufacturing capabilities — marking a new era of growth, diversification, and community impact in Reno County.

Now in operation is a state-of-the-art 12KW Amada America fiber laser equipped with an automated material system, enabling Wifco to cut thicker materials at faster rates with unmatched precision. Also newly added is a Cincinnati Precision Brake Press, further advancing Wifco’s capacity for complex fabrication work.

“These investments are about more than just machinery,” said Josh Stubbs, President at Wifco. “They represent our commitment to innovation, our people, and the future of American manufacturing. We’re proud to be expanding our impact locally while positioning ourselves to serve the oil and gas, automotive, agriculture, and construction sectors at an even higher level.”

And the momentum isn’t slowing down. In January 2026, Wifco will become the first manufacturer in the Midwest to bring in a 26KW Amada America fiber laser, unlocking cutting capabilities rarely seen at this scale.

With over 35 years of proven experience, Wifco has long been recognized as a leader in quality, safety, and service within the oil and gas sector. Now, that same standard of excellence is expanding into the automotive, agriculture, and construction industries — backed by bold investment and skilled talent.

So far this year, Wifco has added approximately 20 new employees and is actively hiring 15 more to meet growing demand requirements, including experienced welders and fabricators. The second shift has also expanded, with continued growth planned.

These advancements are part of a broader commitment: Wifco has already made a seven-figure capital investment in 2025, with another seven-figure investment planned for 2026. Together, these investments reinforce Wifco’s dedication to innovation, job creation, and the long-term economic vitality of Reno County.
