HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Health Department was notified by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment that an eleventh local resident with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 has died.
Out of respect for the family, the Reno County Health Department will not release any further information about this individual. The county has had seven deaths attributed to the pandemic in just under two weeks.
Please be vigilant by washing your hands, social distance by at least six feet or more, wear a mask when you are in public places and stay at home if you are not feeling well. It is very important that people continue to follow the guidelines to help decrease the spread of COVID-19.
