RENO COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Wednesday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a motorized scooter driven by Kenneth Andreas Cobi Lewis, 14, Hutchinson, was northbound on Poplar at Cottonwood Avenue at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. The scooter struck the driver side rear door of a westbound 2026 Dodge Durango driven by Jared Paul Shriver, 27, Pratt.
EMS transported Lewis to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Shriver and a 14-year-old male passenger on the scooter were not injured.
