WICHITA, Kan. — According to reports from Kendall Rogers with D1Baseball.com, new Wichita State head baseball coach Brian Green has made some additions to his coaching staff.

The news has not officially been released by Wichita State athletics, and will more than likely be done within the next week after the three sign their contracts.

Anthony Claggett has been Green's pitching coach since 2018. Clagett started at New Mexico State with Green in 2018 and then followed Green to Washington State in 2020. Claggett played one season in the MLB with three teams

Clay Overcash spent six seasons at Oklahoma as it's recruiting coordinator. Overcash worked with catchers and also served as the first base coach for the Sooners. Prior to his tenure in Norman, Overcash spent 18 years as a regional scout in the Chicago White Sox organization.

Anthony Miller just finished his first year as a full-time assistant at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park. Miller served as the hitting coach, helping guide the Cavaliers to the NJCAA World Series and finished as the No. 2 hitting team in the country. Miller played at Blue Valley Southwest High School and JCCC. He then went pro in 2015 and finished his professional career in 2019.
