PRATT COUNTY – Update Saturday 8:20 a.m.

Pratt Police Chief Nate Humble called on the community Saturday to continue their search for Kenneth Gatlin...

"I would ask that everyone check the immediate property where they live and any land they may have," Humble said.  "This would help us tremendously. Pratt Police Department police officers have been working around the clock looking for Mr. Gatlin by both foot and car. We’ve checked park trails, walked railroad tracks, walked the drainage ditches, walked and drove alleys and everything in between. We’ve also had the help of the Pratt County Sheriff's Office, Kansas Highway Patrol and the KBI.

"Many in the community have asked what they can do to help. Here is what I ask.

"Any help from the community of Pratt would be to check their own properties and inform your neighbors to do the same if able. If they are not able to get out and search their property, kindly offer to look for them.

"I also believe in the power of prayer, so I ask if you do, pray for Mr. Gatlin’s safe return and for his family and loved ones during this time of search and hope," Gatlin said."

The Pratt Police Department requested that the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a man missing from Pratt, Kan.
