BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler USD 313 School Board will have the required hearings for this year's budget on Monday.
The budget as published totals $40,116,000 on total taxes levied of $9,700,000. With that, the mill levy will increase to 55.4 mills.
Like most school districts, USD 313 will exceed the revenue neutral rate.
The revenue neutral hearing will be at 6:10 p.m. with the public hearing on the budget to follow.
The board will also discuss a potential settlement between the district and Symmetry Energy Solutions for the district’s part of the gas bill from the February cold snap as part of the KJUMP energy consortium.
The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday in the Burkholder Administrative Center in Buhler.
