🎳 Buhler girls place 3rd at 4-1A state

4-1A state bowling results

The Buhler High School girls bowling team placed 3rd at the KSHSAA class 4-1A state championship on Thursday at Bowlero-Northrock in Wichita. 

Macy Miller was the highest placer for the Crusaders with a 6th place finish.  The sophomore bowled a 533 series, 142 in the first game, followed by 217 and 174. Junior Aubrey Ewing placed 17th with a 494 series (157, 155, 182) and senior Brayla Johnson placed 19th with a 490 series (153, 144, 193).

The other Crusaders that did not medal were junior Cheyann Geesling (479), senior Eva Goertz (457), and junior Madalyn Bohringer (420). Geesling finished 25th, Goertz 30th and Bohringer 42nd.

Andale won the 4-1A state title with a 2786 series, Chanute finished 2nd bowling a 2707.

McPherson finished 8th as a team, led by senior Brooke Henry with a 495. Smoky Valley sophomore Kirah Taskinen placed 20th with a 489 series.
