HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Health Department says a second weekend of community testing went well with 254 tests administered on Saturday.

The testing was held at the Hutchinson Clinic 2107 Building driveway.

The Health Department wanted to do the testing to try and get a better picture of how the pandemic is running through the county. The hope is to get a better and more accurate positive test rate. Results of those tests should be known in the next day or two.

Another community test will be held on the 26th. The tests are free and the clinic will do another 250 tests.

Meanwhile the Health Department urges the public to continue to be vigilant by washing your hands, social distance by at least six feet or more, wear a mask when you are in public places and stay at home if you are not feeling well.

It is very important that people continue to follow the guidelines to help decrease the spread of COVID-19.
