MULVANE, Kan. — A nine-run sixth inning by the Hutchinson Monarchs took care of Mulvane Thursday night 19-6.
Lane Brewster had a three-run homer in the win.
The Monarchs, now 24-6, return home Friday to face the Patriots for a 7 p.m. first pitch at Hobart-Detter Field.
