KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 2p.m. Wednesday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Peterbilt semi driven by John Robert Lane, 44, Wichita, was westbound on U.S. 54 one mile east of South West 170th Avenue. Strong winds caused the vehicle to tip onto it's driver side and slide into the median.
EMS transported Lane to Wesley Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
