
GREAT BEND, Kan. — The Central Kansas High School All-Star Basketball Classic took place Sunday at Barton Community College, showcasing senior basketball standouts from across central and western Kansas.
Two Hutchinson High School players, Kaia Smith and Grace Posch, competed for the South team in the girls’ game. Buhler’s Natalya Krafels also played in the game and was the game’s Most Valuable Player.
On the boys’ side, Haven High School’s Nash Wray and Dalton Bontrager represented the West team, which won a high-scoring matchup, 123-120. Bontrager finished with 10 points, while Wray added seven. The game’s leading scorer was Ty Romero of Elyria Christian, who tallied 31 points.
