Barbara L. Cozine, 87 of Inman and formerly of Canton, died Monday, March 7, 2022 at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was a homemaker and had been a Kansas resident since the late 1960's.
She was born September 9, 1934 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of Nelson and Grace (DeRosia) Gilbert. She was united in marriage to Claud E. Cozine and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2017. She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include four daughters, Hope Gail LaRose, McPherson; Julie (Marshall) Allmond, Wichita; Debra (Danny) Hett, Canton; and Valerie (Jeff) Gayer, Wichita; a son, Claud William "Buddy" (Jan) Cozine, McPherson; a brother, Bruce Gilbert of Florida; a sister, Claudene (Jim) Clarke, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Olson's Mortuary, Canton.
