STAFFORD COUNTY—Crews from across Stafford County responded to multiple reports of grass fires Tuesday night likely due to lightning strikes, according to a social media report from the Stafford Fire Department.

One was a large fire burning in the area of K-19 and 105th Avenue.

Crews spent Tuesday night and all day Wednesday keeping the fire in check and crews remained on scene monitoring  the fire that was actively burning but is unable to be reached due to the difficult swamp like conditions.
