Nicol Louise Cox, 74, died on September 24, 2020 at Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS. She was born September 12, 1946 in Vallijo, CA, the daughter of Bennie B. and Gertrude E. (Tiedemann) Pyle.
Nicol attended Vacaville High School and graduated in 1964. She later attended Hutchinson Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and graduated in 1986. Nicol worked as a grinder operator for Eaton Corporation. On August 4, 1974, she married John A. Cox in Hutchinson. Nicol was a member of the Carey Park Women’s Golf Association and Arlington Golf Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Nicol is survived by her husband, John; a brother, David Pyle of California and a sister, Gertrude Middleton of New Mexico.
There will be no public visitation as cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Hospice House and sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30 th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
