JACKSON COUNTY—Four people including two children were seriously injured in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Tuesday in Jackson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Infiniti G5 driven by Wayne A. Dunn, 83, Lyndon, was northbound on U.S. 75 at 158th Road.

The car struck an eastbound 2003 Ford F150 driven by Rachael Louise McCoy, 29, Holton.  She was ejected from the pickup, according to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse.

EMS transported McCoy, Dunn and two children in the pickup — a 10-year-old and a 7-year-old, both from Holton — to Stormont Vail in Topeka.

The occupants of the pickup were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
