Hutchinson Art Center Executive Director John Eberly is stepping down at the end of the month.
Eberly returned to the Art Center in July of 2023 and has been the center's executive director since then.

In an email, Eberly said that "It was and absolute joy to return to the Hutchinson Art Center".
He thanked the team and everyone for making this full circle opportunity possible.
Here's the letter to the Hutchinson Art Center community:
To Hutchinson Art Center community,
It has been an absolute joy to return to the Hutchinson Art Center, after almost twenty years. A lot of changes, very good ones, have happened along the way, thanks to the vision and hard work of a lot of dedicated people.
It takes a team to realize a dream, and coming back, I knew that the staff, board, and volunteers of the Hutchinson Art Center were that very “Dream Team.” They are the hardest working group I have ever been a part of; I thank them and everyone for giving me this full-circle opportunity.
And by "everyone" I mean you: the Hutchinson Art Center membership, artists, and good friends, for your continued support of all that we do – together -- our exhibits, receptions, events, classes, and community collaborations.
It is time for me to move on at the end of this month, and I do so with nothing but pride and satisfaction in what we have accomplished in my time here.
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
John Eberly, Executive Director
