Man arrested following disturbance

HUTCHINSON, Kan.  — A Hutchinson man was arrested Thursday after a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex ended in a violent altercation, police said.

Officers with the Hutchinson Police Department responded to a call just before midnight on June 5 at the Clusters Apartments, 1401 E 23rd Ave. When officers arrived, they found a man outside an apartment suffering from a hand injury. A second male involved in the incident had fled but was apprehended nearby.

Investigators determined that a physical altercation had taken place between the two men. The victim was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment and later interviewed by detectives.

Albert Hon Jr., 36, of Hutchinson, was arrested in connection with the incident. He faces multiple charges including Attempted Second-Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery – Domestic Violence (Strangulation), Domestic Battery, and Criminal Restraint.
