
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Phil Nightingale with Salt City Racing will give the Board of County Commissioners a report on the initial season of racing thus far in hopes to get a better partnership with them for the 2025 season.
According to agenda documents, attendance figures in the grandstand have averaged over 1600, with over 300 per night on average in the pits and two race nights still to come.
The county will also look at the economic impact numbers for the races thus far.
The Board of County Commissioners meets Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the Veterans Room of the Reno County Courthouse.
