HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Four more dogs went to loving homes Saturday.
EAGLE Media and the Hutchinson Animal Shelter have teamed up for five Adopt-A-Pet events this summer.
"It was another strongly-attended adopt-athon," Angie Updegraff, volunteer coordinator for the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, said. "We're excited to see everyone in a month."
Seventeen dogs have been adopted through two events.
Three dates remain. The next one is July 8
Thirteen dogs were adopted at the first event on May 13.
Are you looking for a new best friend? Adopt-A-Pet with the Hutchinson Animal Shelter will take place five times this spring/summer at Eagle Media Park at 9th and Main from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Adoption fees will be 50% off and all pets have been spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Not able to adopt? Donate money to help care for pets at the shelter.
