Gregg Nolan Schmidt, 60, passed away on July 14, 2021 at Diversicare of Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born November 18, 1960 in Dodge City, Kansas, the son of Norman J. and Ruth A. Schmidt.
Gregg was a carpenter for over 30 years in the Hutchinson area. He had multiple outdoor passions, such as fishing, biking, skiing, and golf.
Survivors include two brothers: Bryan ( Valerie )Schmidt of Hutchinson, Kansas, Wayne ( Carla)Schmidt of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; nephews: Khalik Woodson and Joshua Schmidt of Hutchinson, Kansas; nieces: Jennica King of Derby, Kansas, Laina Schmidt of Oregon, and Alisha Smith of Sterling, Kansas.
Gregg was preceded in death by his parents, brother Brent, and infant sister Stacy Schmidt.
A memorial service will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church, 1201 East 21st Street, Hutchinson, Kansas at 10:00 a.m. on July 22, 2021.
