SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged child sex crimes.
Just after 2p.m. Tuesday, Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Jeremiah B. Shipley, 43, of Topeka following an investigation into multiple sexual crimes, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
The alleged incidents involved in this case occurred between 2014 and 2019 at a residence in southwest Shawnee County.
Shipley was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child under 14 years of age, indecent liberties with a child between 14 and 16 years of age and aggravated incest.
Authorities released no additional details.
