Juanita M. “Midge” Henning |1930-2022|

Juanita M. “Midge” Henning, 91, died Jan. 18, 2022 at her home surrounded by her children.

She was born March 5, 1930, at Anthony, Kansas the daughter of Hilia Strickland Kemp.  A longtime resident of the Kingman community, she was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a retired rural mail carrier, a former CNA and former police dispatcher.

Juanita was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and the D of I, the EHU and NARFE.

On Nov. 25, 1947, she married Clarence A. Henning at Wendell, Idaho; he died March 6, 2003. 

Survivors include sons Jeff, Jonathon, Jerry, Joel and Jack; daughers Carolyn Rousseau, Connie Schott, Colleen Wance, Christine Stucky and Cynthia Panek; brothers Lawrence “Butch” and Paul Kemp; sister Wanda “Sally” Kemp; 42 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by daughter Cathy Beardsley; sister Betty White; brother Calvin Joe Kemp; and granddaugthers Sonja, Brooke. Hayley, Lily and Mia.

Parish rosary will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday also at St. Patrick Catholic Church.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
