HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The South Central Kansas Economic Development District announced their new Executive Director on Facebook Wednesday.
They have hired Marc Howell, who was with Credit Union of America in Wichita and Derby.
"His background in commercial lending, building business relationships and strategic planning will take SCKEDD to new heights!," the agency said in their post.
Since 1972, SCKEDD has been partnering with communities located in south-central Kansas to advance economic growth and prosperity for all residents.
SCKEDD has programs for business loans, community grants, housing grants and their popular weatherization program.
