
INMAN, Kan. — According to the McPherson County Sheriff's Office, the Inman Police Department and Sheriff's Office personnel, including the McPherson County SRT responded to an ongoing situation involving shots fired in the 300 block of South Maple Street in Inman, KS. The person of interest was in custody as of 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities on the scene secured the area. Emergency services, including local law enforcement and medical teams assisted in the response.
Residents in the immediate area are still asked to stay clear until the scene is released and classes in Inman USD 448 have been canceled for the day.
