HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hospice & Homecare of Reno County will hold its annual Festival of Remembrance again this year, but the event will have an entirely different look. Because of the pandemic, the event will be in a virtual format.

Tara Dahlstrom, business development/ancillary services director, said it is necessary this year to think outside of the box in an effort to deal with the COVID-19 crisis. Hospice hopes the virtual festival with an online raffle will be a safe and fun way to raise money for a great cause.

The month-long raffle ticket sale kicks off 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Northgate Plaza located at 30th and Plum. Interested parties can view raffle items, purchase raffle tickets and enjoy a complimentary lunch.

Raffle tickets can be purchased online between Aug. 1 and Aug. 27 at HospiceRenoCounty.com. Winners will be drawn on Facebook Live the evening of Friday, Aug. 28.

A single ticket is $25, you can purchase six tickets for $100 and 15 tickets for $200.

All proceeds are earmarked for Hospice & Homecare of Reno County.

Hospice & Homecare of Reno County provides services to those who reside within a 50-mile radius of Hutchinson.
