
Paul “Pablo” Medina, 70, residing at the Sunshine home in Buhler Kansas entered eternal rest on Jan. 26, 2021. He was born June 19, 1950 in Austin Texas to Paul and Monica Medina.
Paul was a father, husband, grandfather, and collector of many different items. He found that everything had a special meaning and believed that keepsakes were important. His favorite thing to collect was pens, pencils, tapes, and CDs. Some of his favorite past times were that he loved to tell stories even if they were a stretch from the truth. He was fascinated by thunderstorms. One of his favorite things to do was to go to the thrift stores to shop. He also enjoyed going to the Kansas State fair to visit the booths. He loved music especially older and contemporary gospel and country.
He had many jobs with the most recent being employed by the Salvation Army of Hutchinson KS as a truck driver/helper for several years until he had to retire due to medical conditions in 1995.
On Feb. 1, 1980 he married Kathryn Ann Worley, she survives. They also had two children Crystal Medina Wingert (Jason) of Hutchinson and Daniel Medina of Hutchinson. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Pete Medina in California, and one grandchild (Phillip Coppock).
Surviving relatives include Victor Medina and Tony Medina both of Hutchinson.
