
Milk containing fat was banned in schools 13 years ago.
The government bureaucrats said that kids were obese, and in part, whole milk was to blame. Now, some politicians want to put it back.

There are a couple of bills that would allow whole and 2% milk to be served again in schools. Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. has called the federal dietary guidelines antiquated and wants to see full fat whole milk to be used in Head Start programs.
