Registration for Teen Christmas 2024 is underway with First Call for Help. The registration is available now until December 6 at First Call for Help, located at 17 W. 2nd Ave. on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Teen Christmas is a Christmas gift assistance program, made available to qualifying Reno County families with teenagers ages 13 through 18.
At the time of registration, parents will need to provide proof of Reno County residency, proof of income, identification for each teen being registered and legal guardianship documentation (if applicable).
The scheduled pickup times will be available by appointment, the week of Dec. 16.
Donations needed include new Christmas gifts, that can be dropped off during walk-in times on Tuesday and Thursday, or by appointment times.
If you wish to drop by the First Call for Help office, you can place any donations in the drop box, or you may come in during the open walk-in hours listed above. If you choose to send monetary donations, you may do so by mailing a check to P.O. Box 2203, Hutchinson, KS, 67504-2203.
You can find out more information regarding the event on the Reno County First Call for Help Facebook page or by visiting their website.
