HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Central Christian School's annual auction fundraiser is Saturday and you can still help, even if you don't live here.
"If they go to our website, cougarsccs.com, if they scroll down, right there on our main page, there's a big button," said John Walker with Central Christian School. "It will take you to another website called one cause. They can purchase a $10 ticket and that will allow them to bid on the silent auction items."
Walker said there are some special projects they want to raise money for.
"One of those things would be updating our security camera system at our school," Walker said. "That's just south of $5000 that we're hoping to raise for that project. Then we've got another project where we're hoping to add another concrete pad and add another basketball goal to our elementary playground."
Walker said they have space for a few more students.
"Our enrollment is 182 students this year K-12," Walker said. "We typically fluctuate anywhere from 180 to 200. The 200 mark is really where we'd like to be eventually."
The online silent auction will end at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
