SALINE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Sunday in Saline County.
Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said a 2001 Volkswagen Golf driven by Nicolas Rush, 19, of Salina, was westbound in the 1800 block of East Old Highway 40.
The driver lost control on the icy road. The car traveled into the north ditch, struck a power pole and rolled onto the drivers side.
EMS transported Rush to Salina Regional Health Center. Soldan did not report seat belt usage information or have an update on the driver's condition Monday.
