
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — According to an email Friday afternoon from Reno County elections clerk Jenna Fager, incumbent Democrat Jason Probst has widened his lead over Republican challenger John Whitesel in the closely contested Kansas House District 102 race.

Friday was the final day for mail-in ballots to come in and be counted and there were some ballots that were hand counted as well on Friday.
According to a Facebook post from 104th District Representative Paul Waggoner, there are about 300 provisional ballots that will need to be looked at by the Reno County board of canvassers next week. That meeting will be Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
